I personally love people watching and urban life. You see so many people who are going about their own existance and although you may never have a conversation with them or even say hello, we are all contributing to our city, a culture, and the collective project we call humanity.

People in the train station

Whether people are in the photo or not doesn't matter because in an urban setting you know a collective of people built the roads, sidewalks, and homes. There are people who clean the streets of leaves and trash. There are those who made a specific decision as to what tree to plant, what color to paint their home etc. We are all connected and the more we can live and work collectively the better for us all.

The following two shots are to put on display the contrast, not just day and night, but how hope, growth, financial success, and human ingenuity viewed from another angle, can feel like an ever-imposing and oppressive reminder of how little you are as an individual and all that entails. The new empires are built not only from physical structures, but also from legal, financial and organizational frameworks, constructed on the backs of people and the computer systems that sustain them.

This past summer I visited family in Morbihan and snapped a few shots with a dinky film camera. Even though the composition and subjects are not particularly interesting, I always just find a bit of nostalgia or homesickness when I see these. Maybe other Breizh feel the same. Enjoy!

Studies say that observing nature can boost productivity, enhance focus, and ease stress, anxiety, and depression. Whether in person or through photography, nature nourishes the mind. I hope my images bring you a moment of calm and self-healing. Those presented here are just taken in my city and on the train, but I really appreciate the capabilities of the Super 16 | 16mm Film Сamera app developed by Dmitry Shatilov. If you would like any of these images in full size please do not hesitate to contact me as they make nice desktop or phone backgrounds.

My first attempts at familiarizing myself with Blender started with the classic donut tutorial by Blender Guru on YouTube. My inspiration for getting into Blender comes from the N64 and PS1 era of gaming, along with artists who create shorts in a similar style, like Necro Nancy 64, RaildoGameart, natsumipocket, nam_mac, violxiv, and alecwestworld. I hope you like it!
